In this project, I helped students at a Catholic High School design Carousels and Merry-Go-Rounds reflecting different periods in Art History, from the Renessaince to Ancient Egypt and the Pop Art Era.
Students worked in teams to design their carousels, but each contributed an individual figure reflecting their own particular interests. Each carousel was activated using motors and laser-cut gears to slow them down and create a delightful moving composition.
